...modern life. Strange title for a blog entry about a new car but anyway. It’s now approx. 4 month since I’ve entered the absolut corporate world and moved to the alps. It were 4 month of constantly more and more working, a ton of nice projects, a lot new friends and of course a ton of pretty good riding. And it also 4 month of waiting for this moment. On Friday I went back home in order to get my new Dacia Logan, my first very own vehicle. I know a lot of people might think: “Why a Logan?”but there are a couple of good reasons to get one. It costs round about 10.000 Euro with a full 3 year warrenty, it’s the only cheap urban proof sleeping mobile that can carry bikes and a lot of other stuff for this price and most importantly you get a freaking HighTech CD Radio with it for free. The Radio is awesome, it can play MP3 CDs. Nice, right? Well I guess that are enough reasons to convince anyone to get one….just one more: It needs round about 5 Litres which is cool considering the gas prices. Alright, right out of the car store I drove to the DIY Market to invest 5 Euros in Car Tuning.: A spray can of matte dark-grey to get the rims dark. It was just because the silver-black contrast did not fit from the side view but it’s an average mistake that may appear during any design process, nevermind. After that it was test-riding-time and the Logan got loaded with some buddies , some bikes and a lot of gear to spent 2 riding days in the Harz Wobbles (eh, I mean Mountains). The riding was nice even though my buddy Ben broke his hand (please get well soon dude!) and the smell of a new car got replaced by the smell of sweaty body-armor and the dirt of crusty bikes. But the Logan took it all easy. So, and why did I call the entry DisAdvantages of modern life? Hmmm, perhaps because it’s wednesday and I feel like Friday evening but you know…
